I've noticed lately that the more I focus on something, the more I get of it, whether it's good or bad. So why not focus on good stuff instead? Well, the truth is that we all have a favorite flavor of suffering. For some people it's anger, for others it's sadness, loneliness, or anxiety. No matter how many times people hear that focusing on something will bring more of the same feeling, people still tend to choose the negative.
