Business Credit Advice With Ty Crandall | BTH 056

In today's episode of Beyond the Hustle, I spoke to Ty Crandall. He's an internationally known speaker, author, and business credit and financing expert. He is the CEO at Credit Suite where he oversees the biggest business credit coaching operation in the United States. Ty has 16 years of financial experience, which makes him widely recognized as an authority in business credit building, scoring, and financing. He's the author of two books, Perfect Credit and Business Credit Decoded.

Ty is a frequent contributor to radio and news shows, TV programs, and magazines including Entrepreneur, Inc, and Forbes. He's also the host of the podcast The Business Credit and Finance Show.

During the interview, we cleared up a lot of the most important questions business owners have about getting money. I personally had no idea how much cash there is available for businesses. One of the best pieces of advice he gave, is to get access to money before you need it, therefore when the unexpected happens, you're able to use your credit to pull through. Financial institutions want to give money to people who are responsible with their money.

I got one key take away, which Ty made super clear: it doesn't matter how bad your personal score might be, you may still get business credit. Setting up your business as a corporation or LLC is what completely separates it from you as an independent entity. Hence, there's no need to worry about it being a liability.
